Severe Weather on 4/2/06

The winds took down the top of a tree about ten feet from our pavilion. This tree is about the size that took the life of a young man in Castlewood Park.

The storm, to me, was sort of like a metaphor for life: A calm nice, sunny day, followed by treacherous winds, leaving one to wonder if she will make it through, and then at the end, a beautiful rainbow. I guess I am trying to say, that although a situation may seem bad at the time, in the end, it will always be okay.
You can barely make out the rainbow.

A fading rainbow in the distance.
