I took the longest test I've ever taken in my life last night. It was for my Russian cross-cultural class and it took me two-hours and forty-five minutes to complete. I wasn't the first one finished and I wasn't the last one, either. The torture consisted of ten questions, with five and sometimes ten sub-questions. It was all short and long answer. One question required an answer in six paragraphs. Thank God it was open-note and thank God I took great notes from my reading. Six hand-written notebook pages front and back, and almost three hours after the fact I finished. I am still in recovery today, and I bare some battle scars from where the ink bled through my skin. I almost asked, mid-test, if I could be sent to a gulag instead. Then, I found myself wishing to go to a prison camp and thought that if I wished hard enough, I would be there. Extra credit?
